Romney Calls This A Crowd. We Don’t

Talk about embarrassing. Mitt Romney in his home state of Michigan today held a rally that he must have had some high hopes for. He rented the home of the Detroit Lions, the 65,000-seat Ford Field. Quite a turnout (see left), for what surely included a bit of gold old fashioned Republican union bashing.
While Republicans may be having trouble working up a passion for Romney, union members have no problem standing together when anti-worker pols like Romney come after their rights. Take a look at this recent rally in Indianapolis where thousands took part to protest Republican lawmakers’ passage of right to work for less legislation.
Thanks to Think Progress for pointing out Romney’s crowd control problem, i.e., lack of a crowd.
