The National Air traffic Controllers Association says the staffing crisis at airports continues to worsen. Six of every ten new hires at Miami Center are not getting adequate training, according to the union, because the staffing crisis has left too few certified controllers to do the training. Students have reported that their training materials and books are outdated and incomplete and say they’ve been told by management to get the current information themselves.
