Chicago Hospital Workers Struggle For Better Than $9 An Hour - 10/10/07
9th October 2007
By Jesse Russell
After contract talks hit a stalemate this weekend, nursing assistants, x-ray techs, food service workers, and more at Chicago’s Roseland Community Hospital, walked off the job for one-day. Negotiations began 19 months ago. No word on when they’ll continue.
